orehruoy
Hi I just recently got my 2100. I hooked everything up and noticed a huge drop in my internet connection. I ran a test and I normally run 20 mb down and 5 mb up. When the headset is connected this drops to 5 mb down and still 5 mb up. I have read that this is same frequency as many routers. Is there a way to change the frequency so they do not interfere or another fix to this? If not I think I will have to return it. I do not want to pay that much for something that slows down my internet.
Corsair Employees Fauxbeard Posted August 14, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 14, 2014 Can't change the sub-channel for the headset but your router should have that option. If you have a 5GHz router, you should enable that feature as well. You should also move the headset transceiver (dongle) away from your wifi adapter and/or router by using the extension cable. I have the same issue and will try this out. How do you determine the sub-channel the headset are using?
