rolldog
Will the Corsair Link software work reliability with the AI Suite software that comes with the Asus Maximus VI Formula ROG MBs? Also, my AX1200I came with a Corsair Link Dongle, and I also have an H100i CPU cooler. Can these two hook together somehow sparing me an extra USB header? kansasboy001
Yes the 2 can hook together. Take one of the link cables and plug it into the h100i. Also iai suite and link work fine together, just ignore the voltage errors from ai suite that pop up occasionally.
Raven0215
No they don't work well together you will get random errors per what was explained above. I believe at one point Corsair was recommending you do not use this software with Link. I am biased though I had a ton of problems with the LINK and ripped it out of my system and now use the ASUS software to control all my fans. I have the same mobo, cpu, and psu, but I'm using the CL Commander. I also use Window 7 64-bit as well. I don't have any problems with AI Suite III and CL conflicting. CL has other problems, though, but that's nothing new.

babyblue69
I use AX860i with CorsairLINK2.7.5332 and Maximus Hero VI with AISuite 3 (FAN H110 + FAN Chassi 1/2/3). All this with Win8.1 No conflict, no error win ps: CorsairLINK2.6.5214 Do not detect the bus FAN of Maximus Hero VI
iiron_eagle
No they don't work well together you will get random errors per what was explained above. I believe at one point Corsair was recommending you do not use this software with Link. I am biased though I had a ton of problems with the LINK and ripped it out of my system and now use the ASUS software to control all my fans. My corsair link was crashing a lot and not starting minimized, every time I'd go to put it on performance mode in the taskbar it would crash. Since I have a Seasonic PSU I don't need to open the Link app window and can do it all and get all info I need from the taskbar menu. This is my work around fix. Open the Link app window and I select option/general tab then select the stay minimised check button and then press save on the right side above the rename button (not the icon on the bottom) then close the Link window. If I need to change the fan speeds I just use the taskbar profiles and I can see all the temps there. By doing it this way and not actually opening the Corsair link window it no longer crashes and always starts minimised. I don't change the colour of the Logo as I believe it's still broken, i actually prefer it white even though my Asus M6F is red. It's been working ages without any Link crashes and always starts minimised. Whenever i am about to start gaming I turn my H80i on performance mode in the taskbar and open AI Suite 3 and turn my fans on full speed without any issues since doing this :) I think this is the best way to get them working together in harmony. That might be a good idea to use AI Suite 3 to control the H80i fans too.....hmmm
