DennisMidjord
Hi! I picked up my new headset a few hours ago, and the first thing I noticed was some sort of buzzing noise which could only be heard with this headset. As soon as I closed TeamSpeak, the buzzing/whining sound lowered, but didn't completely go away. I tried installing the software from the Corsair website, and that only made everything worse. Suddenly I could hear myself whenever I talked, even with the microphone disabled (I tried blowing into the microphone to make sure it was the one that I could hear). I also noticed that the microphone got very low, even though it was on 100%. Before I only had it configured to around 50%. Soon I also had the first ever Blue Screen of Death EVER on my PC, and by the time typing this I've had that happen twice. After installing the software I tried rebooting to see if that would fix anything, but the computer kinda just stalled for a long time. That also happened twice (and I've only tried rebooting twice). I uninstalled the software, and then I realized another problem. If I configure the volume of the speakers too fast, everything that can play sound crashes. Even the headphones. It makes a small sound, and then I have to plug it in and out again to make it work. That doesn't happen with the build-in speakers from my Lenovo Ideapad S510p Notebook. I bought this headset because I found a lot of great reviews on the internet. It seemed like no one was having any trouble. As soon as I googled the problems I had myself, I saw that I wasn't alone. I really want to fix this. I would hate to have to return it, mostly because the place where I bought it would just send me a new one, and it seems like this is a common issue. Any help is appreciated!
