Doridian
Greetings, I currently own an AirFlow Pro (with connection cable) which I, sadly, cannot attach since I did not manage to get my hands on a Corsair Link Commander. However I also own an H100i which, right next to the USB port has a port that (physically) could fit the AirFlow Pro connection cable and I recall reading that it could serve as a host for one other link device. Is this correct? Could I attach the AirFlow Pro to the H100i?
Corsair Employees Fauxbeard Posted August 6, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 6, 2014 The Airflow Pro can connect to the H100i/H80i via the Link Digital port but it will not boot (CPU fan error).
Doridian
The Airflow Pro can connect to the H100i/H80i via the Link Digital port but it will not boot (CPU fan error). I have just attached it like you proposed and Corsair Link would not detect the H100i anymore (Device Manager did not even find it anymore). After detaching the connector everything worked flawlessly again. However the PC booted fine in both cases.
Corsair Employees Fauxbeard Posted August 6, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 6, 2014 Lucky you. My test bench refused to boot with the Airflow attached to the H100i. Once I removed the Airflow Pro, the CPU fan error went away and booted to OS.

Once I removed the Airflow Pro, the CPU fan error went away and booted to OS. Well, I disabled all fan warnings in my BIOS (since the AirFlow makes a clearly audible noise before the OS boot anyway, and I have temperature warnings turned on). WizzyThing
I'm having the same problem, according to the FAQ this should be possible with PSU's: Q: Can I connect my Corsair AXi series PSU to an H80i or H100i cooler and then connect the cooler to the USB port on my motherboard? A: Yes, the H80i and H100i have a full duplex Corsair Link Digital port for expansion purposes. This port can either be used to plug an H80i or H100i into the Corsair Link Commander, or it can be used to add another Corsair Link device to your system, such as an AXi series power supply. so why isn't this possible with the airflow pro?
