arg-ist
How to make BENCH CASE from an old ATX My earlier threads were 2x CORSAİR 900 D (fulltower)an 800D ,an Level 10 GT, TJ O7 and a JUMBO CASE…all fulltowers This time a small case and a fast mod at weekend.. My friend atik wanted a smal bench case ,and not to spend Money. only with products ready in the kitchen. we used an old cheap atx case http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1280x1024q90/911/ycfsYr.jpg We planned what to do and what kind of a bench. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/538/OFOSk8.png http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/536/0fDTgI.png http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/908/w9cpL0.jpg Then we have overthrowed the case http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/673/1cBXD2.jpg Emptied the case.. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/906/xd3lLh.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/539/ct7dWm.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/674/gW3z2T.jpg I had planned watercooling with a 360 rad ,but he wanted to use his 480 XSPC rad. 480 Rad was greater than the case.and As this was not enough he wanted to use as push-pull and with dobble fan shroud I made a front cover to the case for 480 rad. .but as an unusual fun shroud. , it was 60(120/2) +120 +120 +60(120/2) http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/537/nrb0hw.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/537/SZiXUp.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/901/nPK84Q.jpg And he wants the pump and reservoir outside of the case , like 480 Rad. I made a tower for reservoir and pump at the side of the case, to use a tube reservoir 250 mm.. but he used a mini xspc reservoir at beginning.but he promised me to buy a 250 mm. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/661/ZL6QLX.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/661/D9qJvX.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/631/bKiBeP.jpg And mounted to the case http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/661/PcCNoq.jpg But a new request from my frend. He wants to use DWD player and a fan controller at the front.. A new front cover for dwd player, fan controller and 480 rad.. I did all wrong requests of my friend… http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/674/O7ZzqH.jpg We wanted to mount the MB tray on the side door of ATX , and open it with a gas spring arm. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/539/zRdb87.jpg But the side door of the case was too thin.for a gas spring arm.. ı made a 5 mm thick Alu side cover with 2 hinges. %5Bimg%5Dhttp%3A//imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/842/spuc.jpg[/img] Today frozen cpu and mnpc uses it…on their new experiment case.. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/843/nesq.jpg ı used the same gas spring arm on my JUMBO case too. To open the upper part of the case. And cooled with a fan http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/539/oPVSOg.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/539/oXMlsq.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/901/wtS4RK.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/540/CcMfLf.jpg As MB tray and expansion slots we used the tray of the case. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/633/Fetqbj.jpg For tubing we used some 90 degr. angled clips http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/536/eDBANt.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/536/lWGkWs.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/537/0k930S.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/661/6GE9W1.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/673/iUnb7W.jpg To mount DWD player made a shelf from plexi http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/745/1kj1zI.jpg And dwd mounted http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/913/ilaIB3.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/909/Qv4JOd.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/904/UpmWOX.jpg And mounted MB http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/674/aduve5.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/673/L5AZLp.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/537/5xx5iI.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/746/U3LIDE.jpg And watercooled http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/536/aHtdmg.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/673/029p9Q.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/908/cgcNYZ.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/538/xWLU2Y.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/536/IHUvnL.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/538/susm80.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/910/Ct8nrY.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/911/7NxhLi.jpg What was wrong at this case: Using an 480 rad instead of 360. instead an 360 rad mounted at the inside of the case, mounting outside , instead of swiftech micro res… a 250mm reservoir ugly glossy black paint And not working with quite large folds of the hose would it be better like this http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/59/ldp8.jpg but we must cook with , what we have in the kitchen as ready. and spend no Money… And my friend was the boss.
