JumpingJackson Posted October 30, 2004 Share Posted October 30, 2004 Hi I have the MSI K8n Neo2 Platinum with 2 sticks of CMX 512-3200c2Pt but one of them is v1.2 and the other is 1.1.. I cant get them to go at 200 mhz together. the 1.1 wont run at 200 by its self or with the 1.2.. but the 1.2 will run at mhz by itself. Whats the deal? Is the v1.1 actually just PC2700 tested to run at 200mhz but SPD set to 166?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 1, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 1, 2004 You can try the attached bios, but you will need to set the memory frequency and timings manually to Cass 2.5-3-3-7 at DDR400 and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. If that does not solve the problem then I would have no problem replacing your modules, but you will need to send a manual RMA request by email explaining that you need both modules to be the same revision due to your MB. Please send us a email with a copy of the form or all of your info name address and phone# and the Module part# and copy the link to this post and email it to Rma@corsairmemory.com.
