Magsch
Hi Ramguy! I have a computer that I haven't been using for a couple of months because my girlfriends computer was less noicey. But now that she has moved, I tried to use my own computer - but it woulden't boot up, it just made like a warning sound. Peeeeeeep peeeeeeep peeeeeeep and so on... After several hours I found out that one of my two Corsair TWINX512-3200LL, 2x256Mb, must me broke. With just that one outside the computer it starts. What can have happend?? The computer was stored in a corner in my bedroom during it "off-time". I spoke with the dealer I bought it from (I live in Sweden) and they said that my one year warranty with them had expire so there was nothing they could do for me.... But I still have the receipt and the original wrapping... I would be helpful for any help I can get!! //Pejman
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 29, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 29, 2004 It's hard to say what might have happened, but we offer a lifetime warranty and would be happy to replace them. But you might try it again and just try the modules one at a time to verify it's not some other issue. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!

I tried several things, several times before I came to the conclusion that one of the mamorys must gone bad. I have now read your “I think I have a bad part!” and will make a request for a RMA-number... Thanx for your help!!
