AndreasN
Hi, I have a Corsair VS512MB400 Value Select 512Mb DDR PC3200 400MHz 184pin Unbuffered CL2.5 When my computer bootes it says my memory is running at 200Mhz (the text is highlighted). It should say 400MHz i guess? Is this something I can change in bios or does it indicate that there is something wrong with my memory? I have a MSI K8N Neo-FSR nForce3 mobo and the memory above is my only one.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 29, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 29, 2004 No not always, it will depend on how the MB or MB maker shows the memory speed. Either the actual clock frequency (200MHz) or the DDR Frequency (400DDR) could be listed. I would use http://www.memtest.org or Everest 1.1 to see what it's running at if your manual does not tell you!
