hotspot
On the ax1500i pages it says Current: 15A , does this mean it takes 15 Amps all the time or only when on maximum load?
Faithh07
No thats what your power outlet thing can provide I assume. The ax1500i can provide up to 125A @ 12V DC. It won't provide that current if your pc doesnt need it.
jameyscott
That is the amperage it can pull from the wall. Depending on where you live, at 110v (standard in America) it will pull 15A which is one of the most common amperages for a circuit in a room. I'm lucky enough to have dual 30 amp circuits so if I really wanted to I could use 4 AX1500is... ;)
JKeifer
I am considering installing a sub panel for my home theater with 30 amp service as well. What sort of connectors and cable do you use to supply the 30 amps? Thanks for the information!
