Nexus6
Hi,i just bought an msi K8n neo2 platinum motherboard.i was wondering if the TWINX1024-4000PRO was ok for the board or if i should go with the 3200. thanks in advance
Wired
It'll work fine, although the 4000s were really designed for Intel systems. YOu my want to look into the 3200XLs, as they have the potential to OC very well.
Nexus6
thanks for the advice.the only reason i asked is because i read a reveiw ( http://www.viperlair.com/reviews/cpu_mobo/msi/amd/s939/k8npe/p2.shtml ) and he used the 4000 speed but the 3200 was being recomended by people on the boards. thanks
Wired
Review sites will usually test everything with a really high mem speed capable stick so it'll work regardless of OC or platform, rather than buying multiple kits of various speeds. Also helps when comparing review specs.
