BigDog78
Hello Members, I am about to build a rig and had a quick question about a case configuration. What is the best way to install the H100i on the Corsair 500r case. What is the best configuration for the radiator and the fans? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. BigDog78
Radiator in the top, fans exhausting. So basically you mean put the fans inside the case and "push" air up and through the top?
Word of Madness
Yep. The 500R has two intakes on the front and one on the side, along with one on the rear, so it makes sense to match things up to have 3 intake and 3 exhaust by having the H100i fans exhausting out the top. Some people will advocate having a differing setup in the aim of having a positive or negative pressure, but I've always found it better to have intakes at the bottom, side and front, and the exhaust at the top and back, with intake and exhaust airflow roughly matching.
