Jowns
I sense there is something up with my motherboard/usb ports. This problem originated with my m90 which worked great no matter what for a year and a half until after booting out of sleep mode it just died practically I would have to unplug it from the usb and back in each time with a 50/50 chance it would work. Now with corsairs RMA done the m95 didn't want to firmware update on my computer. What would happen is as soon as the firmware began the mouse would flash and then the lights would cut off then back on and the firmware update would fail at 25% and the mouse apeared dead until I troubleshooted it with windows which reinstalled the driver to make it turn back on. Luckily I have a laptop which I was able to get the firmware updated on the first try and then the mouse started working on this computer. Anyway does anyone have any idea what would be causing the m95 to not work after awakening from sleep mode. It does work after a restart/shutdown right off the bat but not sleep mode and I don't want to be pluggin it in and out so I just restart my computer to get it to work. Edit: I've disabled usb selective suspending/whatever it is. I need bright minds. I don't know how to do a bios update on this generic motherboard. Or update a chipset because again this is a generic motherboard that came with a prebuilt computer. System: I7 870 8gb Ram 1 Tb HD Ati Radeon Hd 6950 (2gb) Antek 900w PSU W7 64 Bit Home Edition. thenosbod
if you do not know what motherboard you have fitted, I would download speccy to see if it would identify it! http://www.piriform.com/download
Jowns
%5Bimg%5Dhttp%3A//i.imgur.com/b92sMFW.jpg[/img] I do apologise for the long delay in responding, I haven't been on my computer in a while now it was a busy couple work weeks. My problem still continues, as of right now the mouse is lit up but the cursor not responding unless I unplug the usb and plug it back in. And if that fails I have to troubleshoot it with windows, which always tells me its a driver problem.
