mrwest
The detection of the fans & radiator are not recognized with my H100i connected to the fan header on my Asus Z97 Deluxe. I've tried both USB headers. Sometimes I am able to remove the USB connector and reconnect it. At one point I managed to get it to detect the radiator but not the fans. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software piecemeal with no luck. I used a USB cable directly to USB ports and then it worked correctly. Obviusly, I'd rather not have a USB cable running from the black to a USB connector. Any ideas? System is Windows 8.1, all up to date. Corsair Link software is latest. mrwest
I was able to solve this problem by making registry edits as suggested in a windows 8.1 support thread. PITA but worked.
Go18GO
I resolved this exact issue by using the decmebre release of the app, not the newest one. I however lost my case fans and my GPU fans. They dont show now. But the H100i firmware updated and everything else worked fine
Go18GO
Ok, found a better final solution. Was having the issue of out of the box not being able to get latest release of link to recognize H100i. I installed version RC-v2_5_5145 which allowed the system to recognize the h100i and apply a firmware update. When this was done i was not able to see my GPU fans or case fans anymore. I uninstalled RC-v2_5_5145 and re installed latest version (After applying firmware update from RC-v2_5_5145. Everything works perfectly now. Issues seems to be related to getting firmware update on certain H100is out of the box. The latest version of link works perfect once that firmware is updated however. Go18GO
Did you make sure to remove previous or all versions first including the specific instructions in these forums about deleting users\appdata\roaming\corsair folders where profiles are stored? EXILE157
I have a different question, Can I uninstall the Corsair Link yet Keep the light blue on logo? reason why I say this, I don't really dont need the Corsair Link. I have my own FC and I use EVGA Precision for my SLI setup.
Go18GO
Yep, you can uninstall it - once you set it it stays until its changed.

Go18GO
Do you notice how it stays the same color even when you first power up system? First clue it doesn't need the application installed to keep its color.

Speed
 Seriously?...Not saying you're wrong or anything, but I just don't want to go through the whole uninstalling and then to go back installing it. If you want to check, prevent it from launching. Once you see that it does what you want, then uninstall it. I keep it on the system in case I need to change a profile. Not letting it start accomplishes both.
