nOm nom NOM3
As the title says. I swapped cases yesterday (Corsair Carbide 500R to an NZXT H440) get everything set up and now my H100i is not detected. there were 0 Hardware changes and 0 software changes. I am fairly sure I even have everything plugged into the same ports. just to be sure I have changed which header the H100i is plugged into. I have been using the latest corsair link beta since it was released, it kind of worked until yesterday when I switched cases.
Go18GO
Try a different USB Header. Unless you changed Bios settings it can only be power to the block or the usb connection to the board from block
nOm nom NOM3
I only have two USB2 headers, do you think my cable could be shorted?
snapper69
If you have a Micro USB to USB cable, try running it from the pump block to a USB port on the back of the case. You could also try disconnecting any case USB cables from your motherboard as that seems to be the only change that could affect it.
nOm nom NOM3
I tried another cable it does not detect a thing. I guess I should just connect the fans to the motherboard headers. but I have to wonder if my H100i is doing its job if one part is shot I wonder how much of it actually works. soz for the 10 day revival It just took that long to find the cable I was looking for
wytnyt
non,you may want to try this disconnect the usb,,uninstall the software including the appdata folder,,do a 15 second cold boot shutdown restart then restart again this time with usb connected then install the software the h1ooi maintains a signal connection even if the computer is powered off. nOm nom NOM3
that is pretty much exactly what I did. unfortunately It is not being detected at all, and I have reason to believe that the cable works because it is able to charge other devices
