Walterses
So my parents informed me that their VA wasn't connecting to their pc, so after some fiddling around it seems that when connected via usb2 or 3 it definitely does not show up in my computer as a drive, but under devices and printers it does. From devices and printers i can not find any option for reformatting this drive. It is currently running and older firmware, version 1.2.7, and I am quite keen on upgrading it but can not via usb. Have tried to upload to it via wireless but again it copies half the file then stops. Is there an easy way for me to factory reset/reformat the device without having usb access? Toasted
Check Disk Management, Is the drive shown there? If so, you should be able to format the drive. You can also try formatting the drive in Diskpart, using command prompt as well.
