Keltik
I'm building a new system and trying to find some ram I bought a while ago. For some reason the cas timings on all corsairs ram has slipped. 2400 is now Cas 10 or 11 (used to be able to get 9) and 2666 is now 12 (used to be able to get 10 or 11). Why has this slipped backwards?
emissary42
The ICs used for those kits (2400 CL9 and 2666 CL10) probably are no longer in production, so thats why. Happens to all the good stuff, eventually. However most of the DDR3-2400 CL10 and DDR3-2666 CL11 kits should still be available.
