gkvarga
So I am having stability issues when running 4 sticks of Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 ram. All 4 slots are occupied and I'm trying to run at 1600Mhz. Downclocked at 1333MHz is no problem. So is there too much heat being generated and thus the instability? I also have an H80i cooler and I believe that the Corsair Vengeance airflow cooler will not fit due to it being too wide and interfering with the H80i hoses? Will this cooler help eliminate the stability problems and will it fit on a Gigabyte G77 UD5H motherboard with an H80i CPU cooler? Thanks.
Nichrome
It will fit, no problem. But it's all about the case! You can always move hoses around a bit, so no problem with any interfere. I'd rather think about improving airflow in the entire case, not just this little part (RAM). I am running C.Vengeance (1600 advertised/tested) at 2133Mhz and have no stability issues (just lots of air around). For DDR3 problem, post in the right section (RAM!) as this is only about cooling.
