mindleak
So, this is my second K95 keyboard... my first one was preordered and came with a couple faulty keys and was promptly replaced by Corsair. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago... keyboard itself has been absolutely awesome... but the 7 key LED went out. Then, about a week later, my 8 and Delete key LEDs have gone out. I have verified they're completely dead and just not accidentally turned off. Anyone else have any issues? Is this something covered under warranty to be replaced? It's a few days short of a year old... and it's certainly not abused. I keep good care of it. I'm really looking at the RGB keyboard coming out soon since that looks really cool... but this makes me worry about the LED life if they're starting to die out after a year. Even if it was left on 24/7 it should last a lot longer than that. Thanks.
mindleak
After looking at a few other threads it seems I'm not the only one with this problem... looks decently widespread. Boo.

Toasted
The keyboards have a two year warranty and yes Corsair can replace it due to dead L.E.D.s. If you want to replace the keyboard again, create a new RMA, in the comments section tell them the keyboard has been replaced before and provide your previous RMA #. p770
Yeah good luck with a replacement. My keyboard has been on RMA for 6 weeks now and I have just called them via Skype to be told they are STILL on backorder until at least 22nd July (and then if they come in no doubt it will be first to call gets them!!). I have 3 dead LEDs and some of the keys are not registering unless they get pushed several times. I have no replacement keyboard so am at the mercy of Corsair who dont seem to care. £135 down the drain....wish I had gone for another logitech one now...at least it worked (well till I spilt coffee on it :[pouts: )

I'm using my K90 for more than a year now and havent had any problems with it and it's on almost 24/7 I doubt Corsair doesn't care, it's like what you said they are still on backorder. demand is higher than supply so all you could do for now is wait for an RMA. Another thing you could do is get a cheapo keyboard for the meantime until you get your replacement keyboard so all the keys are registering properly and you get a spare keyboard around the house lol. arkweld
I doubt Corsair doesn't care, it's like what you said they are still on backorder. demand is higher than supply so all you could do for now is wait for an RMA. If Corsair did care they would be issuing a recall or at least offering a no quibble RMA that does not require the consumer to pay for return shipping. The blue LED board failure is endemic and has been since they introduced the K90. And it's still happening. They like to break out the PR spiel about the "limited" problem but as you can see from this forum alone, it isn't. In fact it's one of the largest consistent failures issues I've ever seen on the internet from any computer product.
