Is my AX760i faulty?

Hi,

When I have only the PSU plugged in the wall and get a green light on self test, then I plug in sata and cpu in PSU only and still get green light.

However I then plug in 24 pin to PSU only and no green light.

I was wondering if this is a faulty 24 pin cable?

Nothing is plugged in at the other end.

Normally this light should stay green, does it power up the mobo, did you pushed the 24 pin cable firmly in your psu, it have to make a click sound if you put it in the psu, also the cable has to be connected to your psu and mobo, otherwise you don't get a green light, just putting the cable only in your psu and not at your mobo doesn't work, so psu and mobo has to be plugged in and connected.

The self test does not work with the 24-pin connected.

You got a green light without it, that means your good. Please proceed with building your PC and get back with us if you have any problems.
