VegetarianBoy
I was looking to save the link for the Corsair Obsidian 500D, but I saw that it wasn't compatible with 1150 CPUs. Why is that so; can any owner of the 550D explain? Is it possible to bypass that? Thanks. -Vege
Lady Fitzgerald
I've never seen case compatibility rated by CPU socket type before. CPU coolers and MOBOs yes, but never cases. That has to be a typo in Corsair's specs. As long a you use a micro-ATX or ATX MOBO (and, maybe, mini-ITX; the specs are ambiguous, listing mini-ITX in one place but not another on the same page), it should fit fine in the case, no matter the CPU socket. Pixelmancer
It's definitely a typo. The case has nothing to do with what CPU you can use. That's determined by the motherboard's socket type.

VegetarianBoy
Thanks, everyone! I was scared I couldn't buy this case without changing my socket for some weird reason.
