maverick786us
I purchased me Corsair SP 2500 speakers in November 2011. What I didn't realize is my wife accidentally placed the woofer in such a way that its front was completely covered by wall. As a result am unable to hear any bass effect. Does it mean that the woofers are dead? The music is clear, while watching movies, the sound is clear. But I don't feel bass, even when I set it to maximum. maverick786us
Double check the cables and your EQ settings. The equalizer works, The cables are properly plugged in. In fact if the cables are loosely plugged, then it doesn't power on. The sound in the speakers are crystal clear, the equalizer also seem to work. But i don't feel any bass effect and I don't sense any air coming out from the woofer.
Lady Fitzgerald
Do you have the sub volume cranked up? It doesn't really sign on until you have it almost into the red range. For listening to classical music, which doesn't demand a lot of bass, I have mine set to one notch below the red zone and the EQ in MediaMonkey with the bass boosted. Something else to check is to make sure you music source is outputting bass. Also, make sure you didn't accidentally reset Program to Late Night; that directs the bass from your sub to the satellites.
