riecardow93
So yesterday everything was working great. Corsair link worked, could change pump colors and fan speeds. Today I booted my pc and got a Cpu fan error. Repeated and pumps 3pin connector and it booted fine. Once in Windows I checked corsair link and saw my fans, pump etc disappeared. I then repeated the USB cable and sata connector. Next thing I noticed was that the led on the pump would turn on, but after post it would keep blinking (see video). Is my H80i slowly dying? It looks like the pump is working because idle temps are just as they were before... Also the pump sometimes makes a grinding noise. riecardow93
I have tried absolutely everything. Reseat cpu block, boot without fans, boot without Y splitter, boot without USB cable, boot with a other USB cable, tried all sata power connectors on my psu. Nothing worked. When I'm in Windows and I disconnect the sata power from the pump and quickly reconnect it the pump and leds would show up in link, but not the fans... I'm getting clueless :( Also, the led on the block behaved the same as in the video while troubleshooting with all the different methods.

HOODedAssault
Id check the sata power connection. That blinking is very weird. I'd say the random pump grinding is because of where you have the rad mounted. Sometimes if the rad is mounted below where the pump is it can cause air to get stuck in the pump. If you check sata connection (try a different connector off psu as well) and it doesnt fix the blinking I'd try updating firmware and if that doesnt work request an rma. Very weird I havent seen it before.

I think I'm just gonna rma it.
