HELP! GA 7N400-L and 2X512 xmx PC3200XL

Recommended Posts

:[pouts:

Hey GUYS!

I am not lucked

I have bought 2 x 512 Corsair xms PC3200XL (2-2-2-5), I have installed in slot 1 and 3, by bios Vdimm at max (+2% about 2,75/2,78 by MBM5) - setted FSB at 200 and RAM 100%, timing (NORMAL) autodetect 2-2-2-5.

System reboot and work! about 2 hours memtest86 no errors.

Prime95 after 3 hours and 10 minutes give illegal sumout error.

With the same bios setting, if I put FSB at 202 Mhz, system not reboot an intermittent long beep (RAM error, I think).

If I put in bios 2,5-3-3-6 and 205 FSB reboot and Superpi 1M error!

Perhaps I have not enough Vdimm volt for this SUPER RAM ?

Please help me, what cure for my poor MoBo and POWER new RAM?

LOL

My SYSTEM:

GA-7N400-L / Barton XP-M 2500+ @ 2300 (200x11,5) AeroCool HT-101 / 2x512 XMS PC3200XL 400 1:1 / Radeon 9600 PRO / Windows XP PRO SP2

Please make sure that you have the latest BIOS for your MB and load Setup/optimized default settings, and try the following BIOS settings;

TwinX1024 or TwinX512-3200XL

Advanced Chipset Features (Ctrl + F1) & Frequency Voltage Control

Configure Dram timing by SPD: Disabled/User define

SDRAM CAS Latency: 2T

SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 2T

SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 2T

SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 5T

SDRAM Bank Interleave: 4/Auto/Enabled

SDRAM Command Rate: 1T

DRAM Clock: 333 MHz

CPU Freq: 333

CPU/DRAM ratio: 1:1/100%

Memory or Dim Reference voltage: 2.7/2.75 Volts (+.2)

AGP Voltage: Default *unless you have ATI 9200 or 9600 then 1.6 Volts suggested!*

All other settings should be set to default settings!

Then please test them one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and let’s make sure it's not some other issue! I would run the test for at least 2-3 passes to be sure!
