Ahtlon
First , this is my second 900D , my first one had some problems with the window sidepanel, this panel wouldn't come lose and was scratched , only with heavy pulling the panel came loose, the front door wouldn't click firmly in the 4 holes, some 5.25 front where scratched:(:, Thanks to Corsair I got replacements for these and this case is now like it should be:cool:, Thanks to the excellent support:praise:. Now at first I wanted to use my First 900D for my new build, but because I had to wait for my new cpu and mainboard , I build my older hardware in it and it runs cool, Quiet and yeah it looks awesome:bling:. So because I had to wait, I ordered another 900D:cool:, Thinking that the former problems with the first 900D was just a one time experience. Because my new pc room wasn't finish till last Sunday:sigh!:, the new 900D wasn't unpacked till Yesterday, had been in the box for 2 weeks:bigeyes:. So finally I unpacked my new one and was first happy with it, all panels where nice and came loose like it should be, no scratches on the window and fronts. Then when I opened the bottom door at the window side, My happy feeling went away , the dust filter laid between the hdd cages and the door, I removed the filter and saw that at inside on the bottom, just before the hdd cages , the bottom is all scratched :wtfeh:. Damn, I couldn't believe that I got another one with problems. So went to tech support and opened a ticket for it. Now, Because this case came from a other shop, I am thinking is there a Quality control on these cases or not . I know Corsair has the best support there is, and with the issues I had in the past with my Corsair parts, Corsair did a very good job in solving this . I know that Corsair is going to solve this problem also, but for a 300 Euro case you should expect that it had a little more Quality control :hmmm:, if there is a Quality control. Most of you will say, buy a other brand, long time ago I did that, been there and was done with it. Once you had a Corsair Obsidian, you don't want or look for a other brand, Hell yeah, I am a Obsidian fan. Just want to share my experience with these 900D's. Ahtlon
Update, the last 900D was send back to the retailer and I got my money back. Now because the 900D is priced more as I bought the last one, I went looking on the net for a new one, after some time I found a retailer that had it on stock and the price was ok. Ordered the case there and got it this morning delivered , after unpacking the case, I saw a few problems, First the side window panel wouldn't come loose after pushing the release button, also this panel had a paint fault on it. Second there where some light scratch marks behind the bottom door on the case and last there is a scratch mark inside the case, this is next to the grommit at the bottem of the mainboard tray, so this one is always going to be visible. Now I had 3 900D's till now, the first one I got the problem sorted out, thanks to Corsair, the second went back, because of scratch marks inside and now the third one also goes back with scratch marks inside. Hopefully The fourth one is ok. Will keep this updated till I get a nice one. Hell, 315 euro for a case, you would expect Quality.
Ahtlon
So, got a message from the retailer, have to send it back to them and they are going to send me a new one when they have faulty back. Let's hope that new one has no faults. You have to love Corsair, great after market service, they make great stuff, But , the quality control could be a little better. Hell, I still think they are the best and I just love the Obsidian Cases.

Ahtlon
Update. So I found it strange that this case also have problems and had contact with the retailer, they are now waiting on the answer from the sale agent of Corsair in the Netherlands and I still haven't got a answer from them. In my eyes, the hole problem comes down that the case, the rails that locks the side panels and the part were the side panels rest on are not aligned, if I put a lot of tape at the bottom where the panels are standing on, the panels are almost easy to open, without, I have to put my nails behind the front of the panel at the right side and use some force to loose the panels. But with the tape on the panel holder, the panels are not straight with the front and the back of the case and there is a big gap between the panel and the door beneath then. The bottom door at the side of the window is not straight, its more concave, already tried to bend it back, but no luck with that, There is also a broken pin with the top filter and the front panel in front of the filter hangs loose in the the front, so this is going to rattle if using the case. So the 900D is back in the box and now waiting what Corsair is going to say. Damn, three 900d"s with faults in it, the love/hate feeling is not far away any more, but I don't give up on Corsair, they still make good stuf, I am only just one of these guys that has bad luck with the 900D. Holton0289
the problem is there is too much empty space inside the case without support. The box gets thrown around in shipping and the case warps and bends causing problems. There should be more support in the middle of the case to help keep it square. I will get my 2nd 900D Wednesday. I like corsair too, but whoever decided on packing materials needs to be fired, or sent to class and learn how to properly pack something to ensure rigidity. Anyone that knows what they are doing knows that 2 pieces of styrofoam, top and bottom, isnt enough for a hollow case with MANY flimsy pieces inside. Ahtlon
Hi I agree that the packing of the case could be a lot better, they should had put some Styrofoam at the four sides also so that the 900D can't move in the box without damaging the box. The 900D is going back to the retailer and he also is going to pay the money back. The retailer had send me a mail about this, they say that Corsair Holland hadn't had a answer for this problem or a solution for it. Damn, ok I get my money back , but now I have to look for a other retailer again for a 900D and when I look at the shops here in Europe, the prices are high almost 10% more as the price of this one, they keep rising, and if you find a shop that sell them at a lower price, they all show the message: delivery date unknown. So the stock of the 900D is now very limited here in Belgium and Holland. But we don't give up, some where there is a 900D that is like it should be, aligned, no scratches on it, no paint faults, nothing bend, but it has to find the way to me. Ahtlon
So, looked for a other 900D , no stock on most shops here . So thought, what is the hell going on with the 900D, did what I normally don't do, I disassembled the case till I found the fault why the panels wouldn't come loose, first was the front, took of the front IO panel and bezel of, here I saw that some screws from the rail that holds the side panels weren't driven in enough, so the rail could twist a little, also the bar where the panels rest on, they where not straight,in the back they where fixed higher as in front, almost 1,5 mm difference, I bended these a bit , so now there is only a 0,5 mm difference. Now after putting the case back together, only had the front bezel of, the panels almost come loose normal, why almost, well, the panels aren't straight, they already weren't straight at the sides when I got the case. But because I do have a other 900D that holds my old X58 system, I used and tried that window side panel and the other side panel to make this little fix and these come loose like it should and are nicely alligned at the sides. I already tried to bend the side panels and doors straight, but no luck. So going update the ticket about the faulty parts .These are the side panels, filter on top with a broken pin, front panel that covers the fan( but I think it could also be the front bezel, because the front panel of the other case is also a little loose in this bezel, in the other case bezel the front panel of this 900D is a little loose but so much as this one, so that's why I think that it's the bezel ), this sits very loose and the door under the window sidepanel that is bended heavy and the other door that is bend a little. I called my retailer that I fixed the most problems with the 900D and I am going to keep this one.
