soopytwist
I've had two SP120's for 16 months pulling air through a H100i radiator and one of them is making a grinding sound. I've checked it out, blown dust out of it and squirted WD40 in it but it's still noisy. How do I sort it? Is there a method for oiling them properly? soopytwist
which case is it? Graphite 600T but that has nothing to do with the fan. It's the fan that's making the noise and today it's beginning to sound like a low-voltage lawnmower engine! The SP120 is on pull configuration on the top under the 600T panel, pulling air through my H100i radiator. The SP120 next to it is fine and dandy. soopytwist
I tell a lie, it only makes the noise when held down against the case top (above the radiator). I've tried putting some rubber grommets down before screwing the fan down but it's still noisy. The fan feels unbalanced when I hold it my hand while it's spinning so it's obviously causing a vibration.
