razzu
Hi all It's my first time posting on these forums. pleasure to be here. So, I'm building myself an ROG themed rig (which will hopefully be done by the end of next month) and when i saw that the GTX 760 Striker platinum was massive, before buying the 450D, i wanted to make sure it will fit, specifically 2 of these in sli. Details of build: Case: Corsair 450D Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero CPU: i5-4690k Devil's Canyon Ram: 1x8GB corsair Dominator 1866 ram (upgrading to 16GB later if needed/for looks) Cooler: Corsair H100i PSU: Corsair RM750 SSD/HDD: Samsung 840 Evo 250GB Monitor: Asus VX 239 H (adding another one in the near future) GPU: Asus Gtx760 Striker Platinum Thanks //Razzu

jameyscott
Yes it will definitely fit. You won't have any issue at all, but I would suggest upgrading the front fans to some nice static pressure fans like the SP120 PEs so that you can get good airflow to that SLI set up. Also, definitely go ahead and get another stick of ram or return that one stick and get a 2x4GB kit because you are only running at half the speed since it will be in single channel mode. This will cause a bottle neck, especially in games like Battlefield 4.

BTW, why would i buy Static pressure fans in a 450d?, i mean... i removed the hard drive cages and the front is ventilated, right?
razzu
Damn, i was looking through amazon uk, they don't seem to have a 2x4GB 1866 cl9 at a somewhat decent price, which is completaly lunacrist i could get a 16GBvengeance pro set for the price of 2x8 gb dominator platinum, which is sad:(
