mike wolf
I´m looking into getting some sort of water-cooled system, since the 8 fans I now have in my octacore PC don´t get the job done. But I´m a bit overwhelmed by the question of which size Corsair product is appropriate for my needs. When I run a job such as rendering a 3D-animation, all 8 cores show 100% load , the temperature rises with 2 minutes to 70°C and the PC shuts itself off. I assume this means it´s developing a whole lot of heat, but how much cooling do I need? I haven´t got unlimited space in my PC case, either, unless I buy a bigger case (which is do-able). Anybody have any general benchmarks on the right-sized cooler for the right-sized PC? Thanks to anyone who can help me.
wytnyt
i have a h80i and 2 h100i hydro's and also a custom loop running dual rads and the Corsair hydro's do probably 80% cooling as my custom loop does.,,check your case and see which best suits your needs...
