RocketPuppy
I would recommend waiting until Devil's Canyon -k chips and z97 Motherboards make it into the wild, but here is the best you can do with what is available right now, using a z87 Gigabyte board as there is not a single green/black z97 motherboard out right now (Gigabyte switched to red/black). IF YOU HAVE A MICROCENTER NEARBY BUY THE CPU/MOTHERBOARD FROM THEM IN THE RETAIL STORE. THEY SELL THEM UNDER COST AS A LOSS LEADER. Here is the basic build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JJdxbv -You got enough power headroom to go SLI if you want when Star Citizen hits. All the parts are green/black. You got budget headroom to go with a 4770k if you want instead of the 4670k. You can't get green PSU cables out of the box, gotta either sleeve them yourself or buy them. Luckily for the PSU I recommended you can buy a green cable kit: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/professional-individually-sleeved-dc-cable-kit-type-3-generation-2-green For a cheap monitor this is about as good as it gets: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CMKOVPQ/?tag=pcpapi-20 NZXT HUE kit for optional LED case lighting (it does RGB lighting) http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Technologies-5-25-Inch-Controller-8c-hue0000-00b/dp/B008RWT2IY/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1402622962&sr=1-1&keywords=nzxt+hue NZXT Grid for a cheap and easy way to hook up a ton of fans: http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Technologies-AC-GRID-10-M1-Cooling-Black/dp/B00D2ZK2VW
