Oakley999
Today I got my corsair vengeance 1500 v2's, they are quite nice (Edit: they are god awful.), I need to get used to wearing them, and they are pretty loud, I have to keep my sound on 2 at all times, then just use volume on a YouTube video or a game to actually adjust it. But mainly, when I downloaded the headset control panel to change my headset settings and such, it created a hissing sound, it wasn't too loud, but it is certainly audible, even probably during gaming. Is there a way I can download this control panel without it hissing? Right now I have the control panel uninstalled and as soon as I did the hissing stopped, help would be wonderful, Because I was quite excited about these but it was struck down already by problems. Edit: I just downloaded the vengeance headset driver v2.0.26, and i went onto my sound on control panel and found out its my microphone creating the hiss, help would be grateful, i didn't expect problems within 2 hours of getting my headset, its a poor show really. If this doesn't get fixed I'm simply going to return it. Also didn't come with no manual whatsoever, just a warranty booklet. This is a complete and utter joke. Toasted
If i remember correctly, check the Windows audio settings and see if you can find Line In. If you can move it all the way to 0 and see if that helps.
Oakley999
I've returned it anyway, the headset was squashing my head, the mic was hissing, didnt even work/was very quiet, sound could only be kept on 2 and sound quality still wasnt great, literally everything a headset needs it did terribly at. Should be priced at £5, still probably a waste of money
