Hello guys,

I have a small problem i have the following specs. i will try to list whats important.

1. Case Vengeance

2. CPU cooler: Hydro Series H100i

3. CPU : AMD FX 8120 Black Edition

My problem at the moment is that the CPU seems to be running really hot i have switch the cooler fans from intake to blow out. that helped a bit but it still seems to be running at 48c-50c i also have 2 side panel fans that i have switch both ways and still no luck. on top the the case where the radiator sits its also warm.

Any advice? my goal is to be able to run this pc with no problem i really don't game don't over clock ect. but at the moment run some labs for my Cisco studies so would like it to work. the machine does not turn off or anything. but i can feel its not running like its suppose to.

Hi POLLO. Is that 48-50 degrees C at idle or full load? If full load, you are golden. If at idle I'd consider removing the pump, checking the TIM coverage and reapply being careful to make sure the pump is not being obstructed from seating properly by surrounding components near the CPU socket and making sure the pump is tight.

thanks for the reply JKeifer if you mean by full load that is on and running a few apps it is running a vm and a gns3 router so yes pretty much this is what i would run.

also i get these weird voltage messages and got a weird mother board temp high msg today i think it comes from the asus center.

for this type of case what cooling would you recommend doing? its on 24/7 pretty much my do it all pc.

Hi POLLO. What I meant by a "full load" was are you running any benchmarking software, such as Prime95, etc., that was designed to put a 100% load on all of the CPU's cores to measure computer performance which I don't think you were doing.

A VM wouldn't present much of a load and I don't think that your gns3 router simulator would be much of a load either but I could be wrong. When you system is running, can you measure CPU load? That would be helpful to know. A temp of between 48-50 is not all that hot and is dependent on the ambient temperature in your room as well.

As to the ASUS generated voltage reports and MB high temp messages, what specifically do they say? Were the messages coincident with your doing anything specific that you can recall?

Let us know.

take asus aisuite and give it to your worse enemy;):

i got tons of crazy readings using it such as -60 m/b or -60 voltage ect..

Sorry for the late reply i will try to benchmark and see an no nothing weird they come and go for example at the moment the pc seems fine really weird i will try a cpu bench mark and post some pictures.
