h100i lost connection after isntalling latest drivers

I had installed older version of drivers for corsair link and using windows registry fix got it fully working and detected in windows 8.1

Then I figured it could be time to upgrade bot firmware and drivers thinking that so far connection prbolem is solved drivers and firmware udpated and should work fine in win 8.1

But after installing latest drivers from download page I lost connection with h100i.

Everything else is there I see all graphic cards, hard drives, and got some extra sensors from MBO as well that I didn't have before.

But h100i pump and fans attached to it, 4 of them are missing.

Also there is no update firmware any more ofc as there is no h100i detected.

So anyone can help me with this?

Also to point out that on my motherboard there is only one slot where I can connect h100i on to so ...

Please help?

I need all other ports as well so only one I can use for corsair link is on MBO, and even that is under graphic card so to remove all 4 of them to get to port.. argh.. will look for older version of software I guess.

shame

if your using all your external ports, you may want to first try unhooking the usb devices,,coldboot, restart and see if it shows

some usb devices can interfere with things...

I tried unpluging USB cable and plug again. onboard cable connection is out of reach behind GPU so I unpluged one from corsair cpu block.

Then I've got everything detected, but after restart all is lsot again.

Now I uninstaled CL, unplug, restart, plug install again now everything is here seems to be working, will see what happens after next restart (restarted once after installation then I had to unplug and plug again usb to get it connected)

WIll see if it will stay connected after next restart.

So did process all ove again, removed everything, corsair and corsair usb driver, installed new version.

again no h100i shown.

then unplug and plug again usb connection, it gets detected.

restart and again h100i is not connected in CL.

So far nothing helps I can only do unplug and plug every single time after rebooting computer :(

this thing is so flaky! i couldn't get mine to work at all off the headers, and it was working yesterday on an external usb port, and today i'm sitting here, hear the "usb disconnect" sound and boom. its gone. differen't usb port, reboots, no matter. won't show up.

What the heck is wrong with these things?

just found easier solution to the problem.. still not real solution but.

in Device manager, Human Interface Devices I saw USB input device with ! mark.

Disable and then enable got corsair link to detect everything again.

So much better then opening case and unplugging and plugin it all the time. Will see if it will stick after restart but if not well still easier to do it like this.
