Corsair Link Issues Partially Resolved

I have an H100i and an AX1200i and have had issues with Corsair Link not reporting anything from either of these devices, but recognizing other system components' data.

With the help of Corsair Tech support, we discovered a solution - not ideal but it works:

Replace the right angle mini USB cable with the motherboard USB header end with a similar cable with a standard USB end and plug the H100i into a backplane USB port instead of the motherboard. All the H100i and AX1200i data is now reported to Corsair Link.

There is obviously a defect in the design of the internal USB cable (I tried two different ones.) hopefully this will get fixed in the future.

it isnt a defect in the cable, its actually because m/b headers share all of the ports and different header devices can confuse what gets relayed,i discovered this when i got my first h80.

the usb your now using is much more dependable for link control...
