Corsair Support for Cases

I bought another 800D back in November (the last one Fry's had) thinking Corsair would continue to support ie, make spare parts, for the case for at least two years because of the 2 year warranty it came with. Now, I'm finding out Corsair has completely abandoned the case altogether.

Moving forward, if Corsair can't support $300 cases, then why should I continue buying them? For my next build, which won't happen until late September with "Halo" and the "Wellsburg" chipset, maybe I should sell the 800D and stop buying Corsair products?!

If anyone knows where I can still purchase parts for the 800D, then please let me know. Thanks

The majority of the useful parts for the 800D I've found are usually listed as 'not in stock' & 'discontinued' which considering the price paid for these kinds of cases is something of an utter shambles & if anything certainly discourages me from considering (personally) or recommending (to friends) any corsair cases in the future.

These cases have significant prices attached to them, it is not unreasonable to expect corsair to continue providing parts for an extended length of time. Lets face it if the makers of a washing machine stopped making spares to model X after bringing out model Y 2 years later they would find themselves in very hot water in a lot of legal jurisdictions regarding product life spans.

Completely agree Kit-Fox. G50EED take a look on the Corsair website and try to find any 800D parts. You can't even purchase the case even though it's listed. When trying to buy parts listed it just says "Find a retailer". Can't buy them from Corsair.

I would like someone from Corsair to respond to this. I would like them to convince me why I should buy more products from them. I already have the 800D, but I don't have any other parts for my September build featuring the Intel Core i7 5960X CPU. I was planning on several Corsair parts for it. However, now I will have to start looking at other manufactures for the first time. A shame, I have always loved Corsair.

The ball is in your court Corsair.
