ripzeus
Well as the title says my tweeters on the Sp2500's are burnt out. I had a brown out that caused some kind of overload in just the tweeters. Either way, these are well out of warrenty and I am looking to replace the tweeters. I can not find them anywhere and I have even emailed Eastech with no reply. Model is FSA544010-1800 If anyone knows of a replacement or where to buy these tweeters, please let me know. Thank you.
jameyscott
The best thing to do since they are out of warranty would be to disassemble the speakers and take a picture of the back. I'll try and help you find something that would be a suitable replacement. :)

jameyscott
Doh. I forgot to ask for the size as well. :o
ripzeus
They look to be about 1 and 1/4 or 1 and 1/2 1 and 1/4 is just the circle, while 1 and 1/2 is from pos and neg leads. The tweeter seems to fit in the speaker housing. Here are some more pics for you. http://imgur.com/a/7ioX7
jameyscott
Well, it doesn't seem like you can do a direct replacement. However, you should be able to find something similar on partexpress.com There aren't too many options in the 1 1/2 realm, but there are some 1 1/8 if you don't mind whipping out a hot glue gun to get it stable. :)

jameyscott
That's exactly what you need! You could potentially use something that requires more wattage, but definitely don't go lower!

ripzeus
Ok I was doing some reading and the Cone / Dome Diameter is actually 1 inch. The whole thing is either 1 1/4 and 1 1/2. So I gotta find something that is 1 inch.
