hoboX10
I have every possible setting maxed, and yet I'm way too quiet with this mic unless I physically hold it in front of my mouth. The dB boost is not present on this mic (not that I'd want it because of the noise it adds). Is there really no way to make this louder?
Toasted
Try it without the Corsair drivers, does the microphone work normally?
viglen
I have the same problem, I had been using an old wired headset for years on teamspeak, I upgraded to the 2100s and now everyone finds it hard to hear me. I have tried with the latest drivers and without corsair drivers. And just about messed with every setting i can still the mic is too low. Any ideas how i can raise the volume of the mic? Toasted
It's possible the microphone is faulty. Ask your seller and see if they can replace it for you. If not, request an RMA to replace it.
hoboX10
I RMA'd the headset but I am just returning it. I'm getting a new crappy 28 dollar headset that I've been using that has a louder microphone and doesn't have annoying white noise in the background. Super disappointed Corsair, maybe the next skew of this headset will get it right.
