Odd warranty condition.

Hi people,

 

I'm using a Force Series™ GT 240GB since more than two years now with great satisfaction.

I have never had any troubles whatsoever.

 

On this page

I find the following sentence

Valid warranty claims should be processed through the retailer where the item was purchased during the first thirty (30) days after purchase.

which I do not understand.

Can you pleas explain me what it means?

hello,

it means that most stores have a 30 day return/exchange policy so if you have a faulty item you dont have to send it back to Corsair, the stores ret/exg policy should be faster.

 

after 30 days you have Corsair's RMA warranty period.
