Stentko
Because my H100i did not work as espected, I tried to update the firmware. But the firmware update failed, to no fault of my own (!). Now Corsair Link does not recognize the H100i and I can't retry updating the firmware because Corsair Link doesn't see it... Is there an other way to update the firmware? Corsair Link shows the H100i icons (temp, led, pump, fans) in "system", but not in "options"->"devices".
toor
I, too, am having the same issue as the original poster. Using the beta software on Windows 8.1 I was prompted for a firmware update, and now my H100I is no longer detected. In addition to that my fans are blowing at full blast, so now my computer is extremely loud, CPU plate light is red, these settings are nonadjustable because the device isn't detected. Reading the forums I am seeing a pattern, the software is prompting those with the current firmware to update their firmware to the same version, and it is failing after attempting to proceed with the update, causing the device to malfunction. I have multiple Corsair parts in this system, and the only one I'm regretting buying is this cooler, so if this pattern could be passed on to those who fix this sort of thing that'd be great. TLDR: Beta software is prompting users to update from 1.07 to 1.07, if you do this your device may malfunction. A way to fix failed firmware updates, or at least acknowledgement that I should RMA the thing is needed.
baldeagleuk
Same thing for me too. USB device unknown. Seems like Corsair have messed up again.
