Pappun
Hi, I think I've been having issues with my PSU 750w gold 80+ (CP-9020055/ Model 75-001937) as they randomly shut down (5 seg gap) and starts again. I've done stress tests, cpu won't go more than 45-50 degress (hyper 212 cooler) and everytime that I run OCCT for psu, it shuts down. My case is 500r and the psu face down. please let me know if you need more info (my build is in my profile) Thanks

Corsair Employees jonnyguru Posted May 29, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 29, 2014 Your serial number is the number underneath that bar code. So the first four digits is 1348. You're safe. So you're saying that the PC shuts down and then starts back up again about 5 seconds later? That's not PSU related. If the PSU was latching off due to heat, etc. you would need to cycle the switch on the back of the PSU. If the PC is cycling itself, the problem is likely motherboard related. Ahtlon
Take a look at your mainboard, this is common when there are some caps faulty, they are little convex and sometimes they also a leak on top. Could be the problem.
ngt
My PC shuts down itself after some time after it has been to sleep mode and then i woke it up But maybe my problem is combined with the stubborn booting effect i have from my corsair, but i got an RMA for it. Ahtlon
Which sleep modus do you use S1, S3 S5, You could set sleepmodus on auto in the bios, if still does that , then put it on S3, I thought that ax750 doesn't like s5 sleepmodus, you could give it a try.
