A few weeks ago, I ordered the K70 keyboard knowing it was on back order. On 5/16 (the projected day on which my keyboard would arrive), I got an email saying that there was a delay and I would be compensated with a free mousepad (which was very gracious of Corsair). However, it has since been two weeks and I have neither my keyboard nor an email explaining the further delay. I don't care if you say I can't get my keyboard because they have all failed catastrophically, at this point, I just want to know what's up. Even just a quick email saying that I won't be getting it and should just purchase elsewhere. I purchased directly from Corsair with the impression that I'd get the keyboard faster than through a middleman, like Newegg, but at this point, I would have been better off just purchasing through someone else. I want to give Corsair my business since I consider their products to be worth investing in, but this unexplained delay is not what I expect from Corsair. I can see on Corsair's website that my order is still "processing", but I'll see if I can get more info by calling customer service. But I was wondering if Corsair would send out another general email to those who ordered the k70 keyboard like they had done on May 16th. That would be much easier for me and (I assume) for Corsair since each customer wouldn't have to call Corsair about a status update and clog support lines. As I posted previously, my help ticket was answered and I was told that my keyboard should arrive by the end of this week (June 6th) and was upgraded to 1 day shipping for free. However, it is the evening of June 5th and the status of my order is still "Processing". I am concerned and frustrated because Corsair has not updated those who have ordered the keyboard about the status of our orders. On top of that, they cannot seem to hold to their deadlines. I would prefer a notification that the keyboards won't arrive for another few weeks than get the occasional email update with a deadline that is not met by Corsair. I want to reiterate that the original ship date was May 16th, on which a prompt email was sent out to k70 customers that there was a delay. I had hoped for more emails as the delay dragged on, but the only update I have received was through a help ticket. I was relived until the next due date approached with no change to the situation. On top of this, websites like Newegg and Amazon seem to have been restocked for the past few weeks. Since both the middlemen and Corsair had the k70 on backorder at the time, I decided that ordering directly from Corsair would be the easier option. Perhaps I should have just cancelled the order when I had the chance and ordered from another website. I hope I hope that Corsair resolves this issue soon. I ordered the Vengeance K70 Brown switch keyboard on May 14th and received the email on May 16th indicating there would be a delay and that they were to receive the keyboards by May 23rd. It is now June 5th and my order still remains on "Processing" with no further emails issued explaining the additional delays. My intentions were the same as yours. I figured ordering from Corsair would have resulted in a faster shipping than ordering through a Middleman, such as Newegg or Amazon, whom at the time was out of stock on the K70. Surely Corsair receives their products before any middle-man does. Boy, was I wrong. Newegg and Amazon have been restocked for over two weeks now. To further put salt in the wound, their shipping is also cheaper! None of my emails concerning the issue have been answered by the Webstore Service or my ticket to Customer Service. I remain stuck in the dark with $144 on the line. As a first time customer to Corsair, I am appalled by treatment I'm receiving from customer service, or rather the neglect! Unless compensated, I will never order from Corsair again and will avert from buying their products all-together. Ignoring your customers is UNACCEPTABLE! Been told there's been a delay about 4 times now and they said they'd have them shipped out the following Monday. Four times. Those of us who have ordered have yet to see our product while retailers such as Amazon and Newegg, like you said, have been in stock for weeks now. I've never had any e-mails answered and when calling, I get the same run around. What's the deal Corsair? Great products but horrible customer service. Won't be doing this again. I submitted a customer service ticket last week and was guaranteed a response within 2 days but to no avail. I have used the corsair web store before to order the FPS Backlit Compatible Keycaps and yet showed up just fine, and there were no delays. But this is starting to get ridiculous as we are waiting over a month for this item. I too have received an email on May 16th saying they were due for a shipment of K70's in Mx Browns late next week, but I have not received an email since. The only thing at this point keeping me from just canceling this order is the free MM400 mouse pad because I am due for a new one. I placed an order for the K70 with Cherry MX Brown switches on April 20th and have yet to receive it either. From what I can gather, their ticketing system is rather worthless - everyone keeps advising those of us waiting to call their customer support number, where you will be served faster. For example, I opened a ticket on May 19th and have not seen a response at all. I too was told when calling last week that Corsair will receive new supply on Monday 6/9/2014 and it should ship out either today or tomorrow, with a free mousepad using variant of UPS Next Day Air. That sounds great and all, but seeing the new responses in this thread make it seem that this deadline keeps moving each week to promise the following Monday, and the consistent missing of that target. I fear that the same thing will probably happen this week if the past is any indicator. I am trying to give you my direct business - not through some third party like Newegg or Amazon. Why is it so difficult for Customer Service to give a straight answer as to when the product will ship out, especially when the timeline seems to keep moving to the following week? Please let us know if there is some major supply chain issue or just general keeping us in the loop. At this point for me, promising free stuff isn't really cutting it if I never see the product delivered. I just want the damn product I ordered over a month ago. We’d like to thank everybody who placed a pre-order for their patience, and we think you’ll agree that these amazing gaming keyboards are worth the wait. I’d like to apologize once again for the longer than expected delays and the sometimes slow progress on providing updates. Given the often complex nature of supply chains and logistics, we had to deal with some delays that were out of our control. Thank you for all of the employees for helping us to get these amazing keyboards. The only problem I can think of as of now, is that somebody stated earlier in this thread is that they've already received their free mouse pad, but I haven't yet. I paid and my account says payment completed back when the authorization expired the first time. I called Corsair then and got it reauthorized. Got another invoice today even though I already paid. Just a heads up. Interesting, thanks for the heads up there. At least in my case, the original charge on my credit card was removed automatically by my bank about 2 weeks of it not being shipping. Tonight I got an email from PayPal on behalf of Corsair asking to reauthorize the charge and that seemed to go through smoothly. Nafon Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 This is probably related to the my issue I created a thread for, as my replacement K70 with browns was "shipped" on Monday night, but has yet to enter the UPS network (Corsair hasn't sent it out of their warehouse/RMA department yet). I started my RMA over a month ago and have been without a keyboard for about 3 weeks, so I'm just getting a bit impatient lol.
