Sparkko
Every time I turn up my audio to moderate volume I can hear what sounds like the speakers rattling. It sounds like the plastic bit of the speaker is crinkling, and it is extremely annoying. The headphones don't even have to be loud. Is there any fix that can keep me from having to RMA them? I literally just received this pair as a replacement for my V1's that went out.
Sparkko
No one has any idea? I'd rather not send in an RMA request if I don't have to.
Toasted
What driver version are you using? Try the headset on another computer and see if it does the same thing.
sandstorm1
sounds like either something loose or a blown speaker. try shaking the headset a bit to see if you can hear either the speaker or something else rattling around. also is what you are playing (music or game) bass intensive? Although I can't hear anything if I shake them. It happens in both speakers. Also, yes the games I play tend to have a lot of bass. BF4 for instance. Sparkko
I've done some tinkering with different drivers, USB ports, computers, ETC, with the same result. Some songs will be fine, but on others I get this terrible rattling sound that I am fairly certain is mechanical. I can shake the headset and everything is very snug, no rattling. What is very strange is if I push my headset snug against my head the rattling stops. I haven't had the headset excessively loud or anything to blow the speakers, so I'm stumped at this point as to what could be causing it.
