Corsair Employees jonnyguru Posted May 27, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 27, 2014 What does it say on the PSU sticker under "MODEL"? 75-001666, for example. Or CMPSU-430CX, etc. Where are you getting the "CP" number from?
Greig
It says 75-001666, back of psu, I tried 75-001666 It didn't work thanks

Corsair Employees jonnyguru Posted May 27, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 27, 2014 "back of PSU"? You mean back of the PSU box?
SpDFrek
The "CP-9020046" is the correct begining of the part number for a CX430 PSU. There is generally a "-EU, -UK, -US, etc" after that part number. Which power cord did your unit come with? That will determine the "-XX" part that comes after the CP-90xxxx part number.
Greig
No on the back of the unit it says Part No. CP-9020046 I also tried a -US suffix the RMA request won't accept anything I can come up with Thanks for your time
Corsair Employees jonnyguru Posted May 27, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 27, 2014 Ok. The "back" of the PSU is where the exhaust grill is. That's why I was confused. Think about it: back of case = back of PSU. At any rate, I was told that "CP-#####" is what you want, but you need to hit the magnifying glass icon next to your entry to initiate the search for that part. Greig
On my first of many attempts I tried every listing (7) shown when magnifier icon is pressed none allowed me to proceed to the next step.
Administrators Technobeard Posted May 28, 2014 Administrators Share Posted May 28, 2014 Please take a screenshot of the error you're getting.
Greig
Sorry for wasting people's time, things aren't very clear. I was typing in direct or copying and pasting neither of which work! To me a magnifier means zoom -in and there was no adequate direction to say one had to click on what one would have to guess what you are looking for. Why not just read the # off the product and type it in. Any ways this F***ERY is over. Thanks to all volunteers.
