I want to be absolutely sure that I keep my "production OS" plus my data, photos, etc., all safe from possible problems associated with downloading software for trials. What I can't find is a spec or guideline on the maximum number of insertion/removal cycles for either the trays or the backplane in the 800D case. wytnyt Posted May 29, 2014 Share Posted May 29, 2014 i doubt this would be something that would be tested for a ''lifespan''. every item you see from light bulbs to high end parts are not really tested for a absolute lifespan but a ''projected'' lifespan which really boils down to a educated guess...
