Could this be an issue with my CPU or Cooler? It's strange that the H100i doesn't change temperature. Thanks for any help. David
wytnyt
with water temps,it depends on the length of the tests,,cpu temps jump while water creeps up slower its where water temps stabilize that matter...

dburne
That does seem a pretty high vcore for that overclock.
emailx45
I use my 4770K with ADAPTIVE 1.40v and OFFSET 0,10v = 4.4GHtz, not problem. When in games, as AC 3, Far Cry 3, Batman (3 versions), my processor stay in 52~59C, my Gigabyte nvidia 650GTX goes to 69C +2000rpm, my Hydro H100i always 2300+/-rpm, NOW using PRIME95 crash, sometimes, later 2a phase of tests, sometimes, 1a phase. more than 90C
Badboy
I use my 4770k with 1,17V by 4,2ghz (FIXED) My temps are : Idle: 24-26C Prime: 48-58C (Prime 1hour )
davidst95
Hi, I exchanged my I7 4770K and I am getting the same results. I run the CPU at 4.3 Ghz 1.25V on Prime95 and after 20 mins it goes over 100C. Could this have anything to do with the H100i cooler or is this normal? Thanks. My 4820K stays < 70c on the cores when stress testing. I am running at 4.50 ghz. It sounds like something may be either amiss in your mounting, or maybe the pump is not working properly.
