kostasa1
Hi guys I want to change the funs.what do you think about AKASA AK-FN057 APACHE is compatible with h100i.thanks for your time:laughing:
archont
Any 120mm 3-pin fan should be compatible. Personally I'm not a fan of air displacement devices, but go ahead, give those ones a spin, they look pretty cool, if that's what you're after. Corsair Technomancer
The fan will fit and is, by all means compatible. However this fan in particular is designed for high airflow and isn't as good for a radiator as the stock fans. You'd be able to use them, but I'd recommend looking for a more static pressure oriented fan if you want to change from the stock fans.
David.Cui
I would suggest NF-F12 PWM 120mm the highest static pressure I can see, and low noise David Cui
wytnyt
I would suggest NF-F12 PWM 120mm the highest static pressure I can see, and low noise David Cui even these are only slightly above half of the static pressure of stock fans,,which would surely result in a cooling loss... HOODedAssault
Actually the fan the op posted is a great fan. 2.64mmh20 at 1300rpm is REALLY good. If the specs the company states are true it will be significantly better than both nf-f12 and stock at same rpm. Stocks will be better yes. At 2700rpm. Also much louder. David.Cui
I checked NF-F12 the Max static Pressure mmH2O 2.61. Stock is 4. You are right.

PhantomTaco
I checked NF-F12 the Max static Pressure mmH2O 2.61. Stock is 4. You are right. The specs listed by manufacturers are 99 times out of 100 bogus. The reality is there is no standardized testing procedure for airflow and static pressure so they all test in different ways from one another to give themselves boosted numbers. Instead of looking at what THEY say, search online for fan roundups that use one test method across all the fans to keep them all in the same conditions. The Akasa's are good fans, but there are better options out there. To date, the best fans at 120mm have been (in order) Scythe Gentle Typhoon ap-15s, Noiseblocker eLoops, BeQuiet Silent Wings 3, and Noctua F12s. The Akasa's are probably a little beneath the noctuas. HOODedAssault
I will completely agree with above post. That's why I said if what company states us true. I'll also say that gentle typhoons are probably the best fans out there. They move a ton of air and do it basically silently.
snapper69
I bought the Noctuas for my H100i, now if only I can find time to fit them. I also bought 3 Akasa Apache 140 mm fans for the case. I've used the 120mm version before and they're almost silent.

PhantomTaco
and how do you test these fans other than feeling the air from them? How did I test? I didn't, I read reviews. You can take a look at Martin's Liquid Lab for instance, they pit the eloops, noctuas, gentle typhoons, cougar vortex, and sp120s in their most recent video review with commentary
