Is the sleeved 24-pin ATX cable (gen 2) (CP-8920057) compatible with the RM series

I ordered one of these, on the product page it is compatible with the AX and RM series. On the cable itself is printed "AX1200/AXi only" is it still safe to use on my RM750?

Unfortunately, it's Friday and all the Corsair pirates have gone home for the weekend. :(:

 

I will say that the AX1200 Gold is a unique cable to all of the rest, so what's printed on the connector is confusing.

 

But I can also say that the cable will not FIT the other PSUs (RM or AX Platinum) unless you were to force it. So if you can gently insert the cable into the PSU, you're good to go.

 

Otherwise, you'll have to wait until next week for a definitive answer.

Which one is the AX1200 Gold cable?

 

I only just noticed that the product URL also specifies that it is for the AXi series...how confusing. I don't want to have to deal with an RMA for an incompatible cable.

It is confusing that it says AXi as it should fit either AX1200 >>OR<< AXi. That's why I think it should work, though I agree it is confusing.

If it works with an AXi, it'll work with an RM.
