oldblindguy
When my computer boots up it shows the raid configuration. The screen shows Port Device Model : Corsair Force 3 then to the right of it it shows the two drives (120 force 3 ssds) striped in a raid 0 configuration but the first one shows green as a "Member Disk 0" and the second shows yellow as a "Smart Event 0". They have always both shown green until yesterday. Can I run the Corsair toolbox to find and fix the problem? thank you in advance for any help. Yellowbeard
You can but you will have to break the RAID array to do so. Since the controller in RAID mode "sees" the 2 drives as 1 volume, the tool box cannot address them as separate drives. If you do this, make sure you update to the most recent firmware on the drives and then do a secure erase.
oldblindguy
If I break the array that means I will lose everything and will have to spend days reloading windows and all the updates plus all my programs. Is there any way at all to turn that smart event (yellow) back to green without starting over?
bogdan_kr
I am not sure what kind of RAID arrays are supported by CrystalDiskInfo but I would give it a try I guess. Try to use "Function -> Advanced Feature -> Advanced Disk Search".
