Ghost__
Hello community, I bought an RM 1000 a few days ago and since i bought it, it has this issue. When i press shutdown in Windows 8.1 windows shutdown the screen goes black but the cpu cooler, case fans ,and my 3 Sapphire r9 280x remain on. Actually the case fans keep spinning and the cpu cooler fan and the GPUs are lit...! Can you please help me in what can i do..? Does this fact mean that my PSU is faulty..? Thank you in advance
Corsair Employees jonnyguru Posted May 8, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 8, 2014 Motherboard. Remember: When you shut down in Windows or even press the power button on the front of your case, it's not telling the PSU to shut down. It's telling the motherboard to tell the PSU to shut down. Thank you in advance Hi mate. I'm curious to know, was the system already built and shutting down okay before you changed the PSU to the new RM1000 or was this a complete new build?
