Curn
Hi so basically my Corsair Link is crashing every time I try to open it, on start-up and if I try to open it via the task-bar, but it still seems to be working in the the task-bar after it crashes I get the bubble pop up informing me that its still running. If I right click the Icon I can still see the Temp/Fan info and still change between the quiet, balanced and performance modes although I cant seem to switch to custom profiles. I Have a H80i and windows 7, and I think Corsair link version 2.6.5214. This happened before and I reinstalled it and it worked again, for about a day. Toasted
Uninstall the software and delete the temp files from %Appdata%\Corsair and any remaining files from the install folder. Then install it again and see if it crashes.

Toasted
Is it a .Net Framework error or one of the "Corsairlink stopped responding" prompts?
Curn
Is it a .Net Framework error or one of the "Corsairlink stopped responding" prompts? It says "CrosairLINK has stopped working" yet sometimes after I click the "close the program" option I get the taskbar pop up notice that CrosairLINK is still running. And as I mentioned I still get the info and can change some stuff
Toasted
Sounds like its a bug in the software. Click the save button at the bottom left hand corner and then close the software. Does it still crash?
Curn
Click the save button at the bottom left hand corner and then close the software. Does it still crash? Unless you want me to reinstall the software again I can't do that. Literally when I try to open the software it opens up crashed, full screen window all white with the error message in the middle. This happens anyway I open it be it via start menu, desktop shortcuts or useing the show/hide option when I right click on the taskbar icon even if I fully exit the software then open it same thing. http://i.imgur.com/z6JwKxj.jpg?
Sunwindion
I tired this but same thing. Worked for awhile but started to crash again a few hours later identical problem, It's running but cant open it or it will crash, but still can change and view info in by right clicking on the taskbar icon. I'm getting the same issue. After I tweak a few settings, save my profile, the application seems to become unresponsive. If I close it, then try to re-open it, I get: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: CorsairLINK.exe Problem Signature 02: 2.6.5214.22852 Problem Signature 03: 53485389 Problem Signature 04: CorsairLINK Problem Signature 05: 2.6.5214.22852 Problem Signature 06: 53485389 Problem Signature 07: 35 Problem Signature 08: 82 Problem Signature 09: System.NullReferenceException OS Version: 6.3.9600.2.0.0.256.4 Locale ID: 2057 Additional Information 1: 5861 Additional Information 2: 5861822e1919d7c014bbb064c64908b2 Additional Information 3: d1d9 Additional Information 4: d1d94a13d3609d6b740644c12508f581 Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=280262 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-GB\erofflps.txt Edit: Managed to make all my changes, save my profile, exit the program, backed up roaming/Corsair, re-opened the program, and now it's crashing again... The first time I managed to create and save my profile, change the font to small, maximise the window, and change the picture background image - I saved the profile, closed CL and started it again and it was fine! Then I tried adding monitors from the sidebar on to the computer image, saved the profile, restarted etc, - crash Now I can't even get as far as I did the first time before it crashes, it doesn't seem to be one particular thing, the software is just ****ED. Toasted
Uninstall it and remove the temporary files from the software. Then install an older version of the software. Does the issue still exist?

WolvikCitrone45
i think i would try reinstalling the .net framework and using the most recent I've just reinstalled the ful 4.5.1 .net package Here's the steps that i followed, - Uninstalled Corsair Link - Deleted all remaining folder - Uninstalled Manually the usb devices in device parameters - Uninstalled the .net framework - Rebooted - (re)Downloaded the latest .net - Installed it and all it's "add-ons" - rebooted again - Installed Corsair Link v2_6_5214 - Rebooted - Window showing up and CRASHED... Either it's a software glitch between .net and CL or it's Hardware problem...
