OreoReeBlaqk
Hi, I recently puchased the H100i with high expectations, Sadly, I am running into numerous issues. First off, Every time I try to start the Corsair Link Program, I get this set of errors, I've tried multiable reinstalls but to no avail ************* Exception Text ************** System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'UsbClink.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E) at CorsairLink.PlugIns.Hid.Pinvoke.hid_open(UInt16 vid, UInt16 pid) at CorsairLink.PlugIns.Hid.Open(Int32 Vid, Int32 Pid) at CorsairLink.PlugIns.Clink.CheckForNewHardware() at CorsairLink.PlugInHandler.CheckBackends() at CorsairLink.Kernel.kernelTimer_Tick(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.TimerNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) Secondly, My CPU is idling rather hot at 42C or 105F, Everything is working, the pump is pumping, fans are spinning, light is glowing, but my old cooler, An Antec H20 920 w/push/pull setup was running at about 35C or 95F, Why such a spike? Any help would be appreciated and I am truely sorry if I posted this in the wrong section or if this has been answered, But I was not able to find any form of help from searches, So hopefully someone here can help me. OreoReeBlaqk
Update: I have gotton corsair link to work, however, I am still idling very hot any ideas? I changed the fans to SP120s, hoping they'd run at a higher RPM and make it cooler, I've reseated it twice but to no avail.

OreoReeBlaqk
try checking your paste and see if it spread good,,not many things other than these can go wrong... Well I checked that too and the spread seemed fine, the entire CPU was covered in paste, so I guess I just have a bad unit? I mean, I know it's working, I'm just wondering about the high idle temps. wytnyt
your idle temps are not very important as are your load temps, are they also high? if so if only high at idle the only other thing i can think of is if you are/were over clocking and a setting is causing the temp rise... if so,you could reset the bios and try... My load temps are just a few degrees higher than idle, I did overclock once, but I reset it back to normal, I'll try the bios reset and see if anything changes I guess I was just perhaps expecting it to perform a bit better than my old rad. Thanks for the time to help me out. I appreciate it
wytnyt
now were getting somewhere;): a voltage setting can/will cause a high idle temp but as said ,idle temps arent really important as load temps and yours are good...

I am getting it as well.
