cassis
Hello, am new to this forum.. I have an H80 and have bought some Antec True quiet fans for the H80.... unfortunately they don't come with screws and have flexible screw holes which prevents me from installing these new fans on the outer part of the cooler (because it needs to be strongly fixed to the PC Case). However, using the existing screws, i could still install one on the inner part..... Now, there is a switch (600/1000 rpm) on the fans... i was wondering if that speed selector could interfere with the H80 internal fan controller ? Can I install these and on which speed should i put the selector ? ps : I still want to connect the fans to the H80, not directly on the mobo... Thank you Greg
Corsair Technomancer
I would not recommend using these fans with the cooler. Not only could the RPM switch be an issue, but these fans are not designed for static pressure and actually not be very good to use on a radiator. wytnyt
agreed, you should find fans that are close to the specs below, especially the static pressure... Fan speed: 2700 RPM Fan airflow: 77 CFM Fan dBA: 37.68 dBA Fan static pressure: 4mm/H20
